Google has merged Data Studio and Looker into a single product they’re calling Looker Studio. According to Google, this will result in improved functionality and new analytics options for the service.
Google announced that, previously known as Data Studio, Looker Studio has since changed its name. As part of their comprehensive enterprise business intelligence suite, Google will assist users in moving beyond dashboards to embed insight into their processes and apps for better data-driven decision-making.
Google’s Louis Gray tweeted some highlights:
“Data Studio is fully becoming part of the Looker family. It is now Looker Studio, helping complete our enterprise business intelligence suite.”
